10 Days of Astronomy 2016 Timetable
With about a month left until this year’s days of astronomy the preparations are underway. We have finally created a final version of our timetable. Read more about it in the following article.

- April 1 (Friday)
7 pm – ‘Have we managed to narrowly escape a predictable large-scale ice age?’ by Professor Vladimir Paar.
- April 2 (Saturday)
11 pm – Petrov vrh Star Party. Moderators: Dunja Županić (Kumova slama AS) and Alan Jadanić (Zagreb Observatory demonstrator).

- April 4 (Monday)
5 pm – ‘To the Moon and beyond’, professors Josip Prević and Ivan Marko Dežić, Vladimir Nazor Elementary School (24 Ljudevit Gaj Street, Daruvar).
7 pm – ‘From the Earth to the Moon’, Professor Ante Radonić, director of Zagreb Technical Museum’s planetarium at the Astronautics department.
- April 5 (Tuesday)
7 pm – ‘Do you (I) feel lucky?’, Nebojša Subanović, manager and lead forecaster at Geo-Meteo, who graduated from the Department of Geophysics at the Faculty of Science in Zagreb with a degree in meteorology.

7 pm – ‘The science of superheroes’, Tijana Prodanović, Doctor of Science, associate professor at the Department of Physics with the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Novi Sad.
- April 8 (Friday)
7 pm – ‘The discovery of gravitational waves – a signature of cosmic monsters’, doc. dr. sci Davor Horvatić, senior lecturer at the Department of Physics (The Faculty of Science) in Zagreb.
- April 9 (Saturday)
9 pm – Star Party in King Tomislav square, Daruvar. Observing the night sky through telescopes. Moderators: members of Kumova Slama Astronomical society.
